Video and Camera Equipment
Canon EOS Rebel T5i Camera and Video
The Canon Rebel T5i makes great still shots and videos. This is my goto camera for photos I make for my website and videos for my YouTube Channel. It’s also great for family outings and events.
This lens is great for shots with a shallow depth of field. Which means a blurry background. I think it’s great for those talking-head shots.
SLIK PRO 700DX Professional Tripod
This is a very sturdy and reliable tripod stand.
Microphones (For On-Camera Shots)
Rode VMGO Video Mic GO Lightweight On-Camera Microphone Super-Cardioid
This mic has great sound quality and a great option if you don’t want to use a lapel microphone.
Insignia – Omnidirectional Lapel Microphone
I use this microphone a lot for my videos. It’s easy to use and great quality. Comes with a 20 foot cord which is very convenient.
Microphones (For Video Voiceover)
Blue Snowball USB Microphone (Textured White)
This has been a great mic for making voiceovers on my videos. Easy setup — plug and play.
Video Storage
WD 1TB Portable External Hard Drive – USB 3.0
I use this to plug into my Mac and store my videos. Video files can get very large, so you’re going to need an external drive.
I highly recommend at least a 32GB memory card for recording video in your camera.
