I recently had the pleasure of making the pen pictured above. It’s called the Faith Pen and you can get the kit from Penn State Pens.
Note the cross artwork on the cap end. On the center band, are stamped the words: Faith, Hope, Love. The metal parts are finished with antique brass.
I think the Bethlehem Olive wood contrasts nicely with the antique brass. The wood is also certified, meaning it really did come from the Holy Land.
Being a person of faith, I love this pen. I can see where this would make a great gift for pastors, graduating seminary students, a Sunday School teacher, or maybe a family member/friend who has inspired you over the years.
You too, can begin making pens like this. It’s a great hobby, a great way to produce unique, meaningful gifts. And you might be able to make some extra cash flow should you decide to sell your works.
Please consider joining my blog here at Four Oaks Crafts. I will be sharing resources and tutorials that teach you how to make pens and many other crafts. I would also welcome your feedback and ideas.
Hi Mr. Johnson,
I have been admiring your pens and your craftsmanship. Would it be possible to order four of your pens and get them in time for Christmas?
The pens I am interested in are:
The Faith Pen, 2 ea, The Bolt Action Rifle Pen, Rosewood 1 ea, and The American Patriot Pen, Antique Pewter & Colobolo wood, 1 ea.
Look forward to hearing from you,
Ron Holley
