Check out this handmade pen giveaway
It’s giveaway time again. Independence Day is right around the corner, and what a great way to surprise a family member or friend with a special gift, recognizing their service in the military, law enforcement or another public servant role.
A handmade pen makes a great gift for all kinds of events—birthdays, graduations, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas. Thank God winter is almost over, and thank you for taking time to read my blog. I will be giving away two uniquely crafted handmade pens straight from my wood lathe.
The pen on the top is a bolt-action style pen made out of an exotic called Zebra wood. It’s a hardwood found in Africa. Yes, the bolt-action lever mimics the bolt-action of a rifle, and so it functions like a regular click pen. Note the words “Salute the Troops” on the upper section. On the lower section is the engraving of a soldier saluting. This pen has a retail value of $50.
The pen on the bottom is made of Cocobolo, a tropical hardwood found in Central America. Note the words “God Bless America” on the upper section. Lower section has the eagle emblem. This pen also retails for $50.
Both pens were turned, finished, and assembled in my workshop—totally handmade. The great thing about a handmade craft is its uniqueness. You won’t find these pens in a regular retail store. Again, great gifts for graduates, moms, dads, military vets, public servants, or that someone special. Or–maybe you’d just like one for yourself.
To enter the contest giveaway follow the instructions below. Please read the contest terms and conditions at the link below. First winner gets first pick, and the second gets the pen that’s left. Good luck!
