I love these bullet pens from Penn State Industries. These are fresh off my wood lathe and will probably end up in someone’s stocking for Christmas.
I decided to call these safari pens because both woods are from Africa. The one on the left is Zebra wood and has a bolt-action mechanism. The one on the right is a twist pen made with African Blackwood.
These pens also look nice with deer antler, cocobolo, and olive wood.
Penn State even sells acrylic blanks that have a camo pattern. A person can get very creative with making these pens.
